​Uploading student data

  • Go to the Upload student data page
  • Select the school you wish to upload the students to
  • Either:
    • Download the template and fill out with student data (make sure this is saved as a CSV)
    • Export a CSV file from SIMs
  • Upload the resulting CSV file - this will not fully upload the student data
  • By default, the page will show the first and last seven students to check for errors, you can select the + Hidden Rows button to display all students
  • Check for any errors - students with errors will not be uploaded but otherwise won't affect upload
  • Check or uncheck the Delete previous students box - if checked all students will be removed from the selected school, aside from the ones you are now uploading; if unchecked then students you are uploading will be added as additional to existing students
  • Select the Confirm upload button - this may take a few minutes
  • Once the upload has reached the "Loading students into main database" stage, the upload will continue even if you leave the page - however, it is advisable to wait for confirmation of the upload
